Tempeh is easy to digest, it is among the best providers of high-quality plant-based protein and low in saturated fats; free of cholesterol; and a good source of vitamins (especially B vitamins) and minerals (including magnesium, potassium, zinc, and manganese).
Tempeh is amazingly versatile. It can be sauteed, roasted, grilled, steamed, skewered, baked, stuffed into things, used in sauces, or formed into balls and loaves. It absorbs flavors and basically cooks similar to any meat. Some people prefer to steam it for a few minutes before grilling to help it absorb marinades.
Ingredients: certified organic soybeans, organic vinegar , starter culture.
