Hydrosols are floral waters collected via steam distillation. It’s a magical process that collects the water-soluble plant constituents of the plant, or tree! A great way to incorporate hydrosols into your routine is to spritz your face after cleansing, then seal with an oil or balm.

Our steam-distilled hydrosols are made in small batches using an alembic copper still with spring water.

Balsam Hydrosol with Magnesium

Balsam Hydrosol is a woodsy aroma that will transport you to the backcountry. Balsam Fir is antimicrobial, high in vitamin C and antioxidants. Balsam Hydrosol boosts the skin's hydration and regulates the skin's sebum levels; great for all skin types (oily/dry/combination skin).

Magnesium is incorporated into this steam-distilled hydrosol because magnesium is readily absorbed through the skin, and is an essential mineral that helps with soothing sore muscles, lowering stress levels, and encouraging a healthy sleep cycle.
