This translates into incredible TRUE cacao flavor. .Most hot cocoa is alkalized, which means it’s washed with a solution of potassium carbonate. This removes most of the natural cacao flavor and also a significant amount of the beneficial flavanols. But our cacao powder is NEVER alkalized, so you’ll always taste the true flavors of the cacao!
