    • Lifeblood Oxymel

    Loomis Hill Botanics

    Lifeblood Oxymel

    $22.00

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, blood carries qi, or life force energy, throughout the body to nourish and energize us. Could your body benefit from a blood tonic?

When blood is deficient or stagnant, we might experience low energy, dizziness, thinning hair, dry skin and nails, low self-esteem or feelings of tension.

Lifeblood Oxymel is a food-based tonic formulated to remineralize and invigorate blood. Made with nutrient-dense berries, leaves, roots, seaweed, and algae, it’s nutrient rich and gently detoxifying.

The acidic apple cider vinegar in this oxymel extracts beneficial constituents from the herbs and acts as a natural digestive aid. Raw honey, soothing and sweet, brings diverse flavors together and makes pungent flavors more approachable.

One 2 oz. bottle contains approximately 24 servings of ½ teaspoon. Actual serving size may vary.

    Ingredient Highlights

Goji Berry is nutrient rich and used as both food and medicine in China, where it is believed to nourish and tone the liver and kidney, strengthen the body, and prolong vitality into old age.

Hawthorn Berry is well established in Western herbalism and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It nourishes and strengthens the heart and cardiovascular system to foster a long, well-lived life.

Schizandra Berry is an adaptogenic herb that’s also used to support the health of the sexual organs. It’s been used for centuries in Chinese and Russian folk culture to increase stamina and endurance.

Clover is rich in calcium, nitrogen, and iron, which helps carry oxygen to cells. It’s used in Western herbalism to promote overall health and longevity.

Yellow dock contains bioavailable iron and has a mild laxative effect that benefits the digestive system, including the liver.

Kombu is an edible seaweed packed with iodine, iron, and calcium.

Chlorella is a freshwater green algae high in iron and vitamin C, with small amounts of magnesium, zinc, copper, potassium, calcium. Studies also suggest it can help carry heavy metals from the body.

Spirulina a nutrient-dense form of blue-green algae rich in minerals including copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, and manganese.

Handcrafted in Vermont, Loomis Hill Botanics offers whole herb, slow-infused skincare and botanical extracts. All herbs are sustainably wild harvested, grown on a small scale, or purchased from local farmers because high-quality herbs + simple formulas + conscious blending = earth magic.

TO USE: Initially, try diluting ½ ounce to 1 ounce in a bit of warm water and drink once or twice a day. Once you start to like the flavor, feel free to drink the oxymel on its own. You can also use it as an ingredient in homemade vinaigrettes, marinades, and mocktails.
