Negi Onions

Used in Japanese cooking, Negi look like a cross between a scallion and a long and slender leek.  The whites are quite pungent but become quite sweet when cooked, especially when simmered in broth.  The greens can be used anywhere you would scallions. Delicious eaten raw or cooked.  Try grilling them! Island grown by Fog Town Farm
